Summarize the entire story….there is a ton of reading today.
Name all the things that Jesus endured as part of the punishment you deserve.
What does His betrayal, arrest, beating, mocking, agony, and death show us about the holiness of God?
Driving it Home
Have your devotion time at 3 pm, the time that the Bible says Jesus was died.

Attend a “Station’s of the Cross” service at a nearby church or create your own (see Stations of the Cross at Home chapter).
Make and eat hot cross buns. The cross atop the bun symbolizes the cross of Jesus. Legend tells us that a monk during the twelfth century decorated the top of the monastery’s buns with crosses to celebrate Good Friday. (See recipe section).
Roman Catholics have traditionally abstained from meat on Fridays during Lent, resulting in fish being a traditional Good Friday menu choice.
Rejoice in this Horrible & Wonderful Day, Good Friday!
