Who was with Him?
Why do you think Joseph buried Jesus’ body?
What would you have thought about everything if you were a bystander?
Drive it Home
Here are the Seven “Last Words” or Phrases of Jesus
1. “Father, forgive them” (Luke 23:34)
2. “This day you will be with Me in Paradise” (Luke 23:43)
3. “Woman, behold your son” (John 19:26-27)
4. “My God, My God, why have You forsake Me?” (Mark 15:34)
5. “I thirst” (John 19:28)
6. “It is finished” (John 19:30)
7. “Father, into Your hands I commit My Spirit” (Luke 23: 46)
Each person write down their last seven phrases and share them with one another. What would you want to communicate and take care of before you die?
