Forever, Always

Picture
This song started out with different verses and a different bridge. The idea was that though this world is full of beauty, I am just passing through (these sections will probably appear in a later song, years from now). The chorus became etched in my heart: forever, always the future You bring....I would sing these words to the Lord often, telling Him how much I loved Him, but only the chorus. I finally realized that this song wasn't right--the chorus didn't match the bridge and verses. I just left it in the Lord's hands.

One day, I was going about my day homeschooling and housekeeping singing the chorus and meditating on a passage from my Quiet Time: "no eye has seen, no ear has heard...." I been singing this promise and realized that it fit with my chorus. So the song was born and as I sang it over and over, the bridge just gushed forth. God is so good! It is so good to praise Him!

Scriptures to ponder: Isaiah 64:4-5, I Corinthians 2:7-15
